About Me
Richard's work has been featured in National Geographic and recently chosen for their permanent stock collection. Most of his work consists of jazz photography, travel photography, dance performance events. Currently, he is the senior staff photographer for The National Jazz Museum in Harlem, the club photographer for the Birdland in New York City and the festival photographer for the Exit 0 Jazz Festival and the Newport Jazz Festival. He is currently represented by HP Garcia gallery in New York City and a regular photo contributor to All About Jazz.
For the past few years Richard has worked on assignments for several travel organizations and his work has been published in the New York Times, Jazz Times Magazine, Down Beat Magazine and has appeared on album covers; the most recent with Verve Records. His camera of choice is the Nikon D5.
